Baruch ben Neriah was said to be a Bible scribe and secretary of Jeremiah the prophet. The prophesies of Jeremiah were dictated to Baruch by the prophet himself. Baruch also had his own book in the Bible, but protestant bibles removed it in 1500. His seal was found in 1975 in an antiquities market, bearing not only his name but also his fingerprint on it.
